Doctor Who
First topic message reminder :
any one ?
now i am speaking of the current series, although if anyone has seen the original please feel free to discuss as it is nice to compare to the remake.
personally, i love it ^^ . i do remember the old BBC series that aired here in the US on PBS (Public Broadcast Station) now it took me a bit to get use to the changing of "The Doctor"
from series I to series II, i know that's how its supposed to work in the orig series, and in the comics (yes he had his own comic and appeared regularly with in the pages of Death's Head and .. *gasps* Transformers )
.. but on television with different actors .. its an adjustment
anyways ..
comments, thoughts .. discuss

and.. umm.... Devros died in the 80s.... I've really no idea how he's coming back.... unless they go farther back in time.... 0.o
as for K-9 and Sarah Jane, in the pilot (that I saw back at christmas) they said he's "sealing up a man made black hole" so he's floating through a sub demention, sealing stuff up, he passes by to talk to Sarah Jane every now and then... its basically gonna be Sarah Jane, the kid next door to her, the annoying best friend of said kid, and this alien boy who sarah jane took in at the end of the pilot. and they basically use the mini-torchwood in her attic and her big computer called Mr. Smith doing scooby doo like alien stuff... I guess the Slitheen appear again.... blah..
If you refer to the events of Remembrence, Davros managed to escape in a pod from the ship. Besides, he "died" in the 70s too in Genesis. Didn't stop him.

Re: Doctor Who
see, its kind of the bane of the show that they can't do team ups anymore... they did them up to 5 because with the exception of the original recipe William Hartnell, they were all still alive at the time, now, well, Hartnell, Troughtan and Pertwee are dead, as for the rest, the only logical choice would be Davidson, because he looks exactly like he did years ago, just abit older, McCoy has gotten older, Colin Baker is old fat and crazy, and Tom Baker is a drunken douchebag who says he won't do the show again, but yet, makes a mint doing conventions and dressing up as The Doctor for comedy shows...so... yeah.... Davidson is the logical choice..
shame too because "The Ten Doctors" would be awesome....

Re: Doctor Who
The mistress asked me to post these links here. I found em on TVlinks, figured that Doctor Who fans'd get a kick out of em. Probably the most interesting thing is the Infinite Quest cartoon.
Doctor Who - Infinite Quest
And some of the live action:
Doctor Who
Classic Doctor Who
Doctor Who Confidential

Re: Doctor Who
there is no "complete list" of the old show yet, places like that have to get them from p2p, and there is no complete 40+ years of who on any p2p i''m aware of...
If I recall, Infinity Quest is set somewhere around 42 from this current series. I liked it, wasn't overly good, but it didn't suck... i liked the other flash cartoons they did on BBC.com to test the waters with the return of Who better though...

Re: Doctor Who
Season 4 is gonna start with the children in need short episode on christmas eve0 and the christmas special thats got Kylie "I have the finest ass on the planet" Minogue as a maid from the Titanic on Christmas day, after that, it should be somewhere around april or so I believe when it starts again, you can problaby if you're lucky get'um hella fast on a torrent client of some kind, or an ed2k thing... i use them both personally... but i'm finding as of late torrents are faster. Like, I got the new episode of Billie Piper's new show in about 30 minutes off a torrent last night.... i'd assume they're that fast for other things too...

see, I knew you were going to do that, thats why I went back in time, cracked that useless Martha Jones on the head to knock her out and replace your sonic screwdriver, with a fake that i cobbled together using various bits of stuff... i then went and left myself a note to remember to do it after this encounter in the first place... thus, leaving you with a busted not working sonic screwdriver and a knocked out useless assistant that the fans hate and is so boring I didn't even try to feel a boob off her... so ha!

"It's happening again" 10th Doctor, Paralel Earth
On the run away planet of Mondas, it began here. A race of human like people are dying on their sunless world formerly from our system. Many have taking to cybernetic prosthetics to keep them alive. However, to break curfew is to invite the attention of patrols of early cybernetic beings.
This is the Rise of the Cybermen from our universe.
