Doctor Who
First topic message reminder :
any one ?
now i am speaking of the current series, although if anyone has seen the original please feel free to discuss as it is nice to compare to the remake.
personally, i love it ^^ . i do remember the old BBC series that aired here in the US on PBS (Public Broadcast Station) now it took me a bit to get use to the changing of "The Doctor"
from series I to series II, i know that's how its supposed to work in the orig series, and in the comics (yes he had his own comic and appeared regularly with in the pages of Death's Head and .. *gasps* Transformers )
.. but on television with different actors .. its an adjustment
anyways ..
comments, thoughts .. discuss

Re: Doctor Who
a TARDIS can't hide as a person. It has to hide as an object.
The Rani is going to be played by someone else, Joan Collins stated she was in talks and wanted the role, BBC says she's not, and no one's been given it so far, but she still states she's doing it.

oO .. ok i know im jumping in mid ship here,
in the 1st eps of Torchwood, Capt jack has a "special hand" in a jar and is very very protective of it.
being "behind" as i am i assumued this was the hand the Doctor's * the one he lost in the christmas invasion eps.
also, from what has been posted in wkiapedia, the master is a rouge time lord that used his chamilion device to hide as a human and got sucked up into the whole "The Family Blood" thing with the whole skin streched over the energy ord thingy.
we assumed that Baines from the "Mr Smith" eps was the master (the whole mother of mine thing) but was defeated when he got stoped in time as a scare crow. now i know time is fluent, so if he goes to the begining of the end, he will meet the mater b4 the master tracks him down in 1913 <_<
ok so it was wishfull thinking.
ok question? why the hell does the Doctor go to Utopia anyways ? was he just that curious .. or was it that ggrrr martha who wanted to see it

Re: Doctor Who
I blame her for alot of things actually... its kind of fun because you know if she could hear me, she'd be sitting in a corner of the TARDIS somewhere crying and being all emo about it... and about how The Doctor took the first chance to try and drop her he could back in 1913... and would have if not for that woman turning him down..

Re: Doctor Who
Billie left the show on her own, they didn't want her to leave, she left because apparently ignorant british men who would follow around filming would hollar rather rude and disrespectfull coments at her that would screw up filming...
How anyone could say that woman was "a fat used up slag" I've no idea... i miss Billie alot, there has always been this inside joke between me and a friend of mine in the UK about Billie, well more so Rose, which well, just seems sad now that she's gone.

the Time War going to be done on the big screen and is going to be done with McCann, the doctor before Eccleson, its going to be done in either one or three movies released matrix style, where they all fit together, but they are all released with in like 6 months of each other or so...

Davros wrote:On an unrelated note, think Davros surived the Time War?
its always a posiblity, i mean The Master hid out in the year 1trillion to escape, the Sect of Scarbarough(sp) hid in a pocket between the dimensions, Davros is out there ...
- Spoiler:
- In the last episode of Doctor Who confidential of series 3, Davies stated that he had set out a plan to bring the Daleks back in Series 1, the Cybermen back in Series 2, the Master back in Series 3. He also stated that he "hasn't quite finished with that plan yet," and "but we'll be talking more about that this time next year.". This could imply the bringing back of Davros, but this is speculation only.
On August 7, 2007, The Sun reported that Sir Ben Kingsley is to play Davros in the 2008 series. This has not been confirmed by the BBC.

Its "the cult of skaro" not "sect of scarbourough"
and.. umm.... Devros died in the 80s.... I've really no idea how he's coming back.... unless they go farther back in time.... 0.o
as for K-9 and Sarah Jane, in the pilot (that I saw back at christmas) they said he's "sealing up a man made black hole" so he's floating through a sub demention, sealing stuff up, he passes by to talk to Sarah Jane every now and then... its basically gonna be Sarah Jane, the kid next door to her, the annoying best friend of said kid, and this alien boy who sarah jane took in at the end of the pilot. and they basically use the mini-torchwood in her attic and her big computer called Mr. Smith doing scooby doo like alien stuff... I guess the Slitheen appear again.... blah..
