now i am speaking of the current series, although if anyone has seen the original please feel free to discuss as it is nice to compare to the remake.

personally, i love it ^^ . i do remember the old BBC series that aired here in the US on PBS (Public Broadcast Station) now it took me a bit to get use to the changing of "The Doctor"
from series I to series II, i know that's how its supposed to work in the orig series, and in the comics (yes he had his own comic and appeared regularly with in the pages of Death's Head and .. *gasps* Transformers   )
.. but on television with different actors .. its an adjustment

anyways ..

ok, so now i am wondering if they plan on double backing on the
"genny" story. it would be interesting to see the Doctor's daughter meet his
newer incarnation.

Well, with the fact she's former Doctor Peter Davison's daughter, and given that her brother is now the head writer on the show, i'd say there is a very good chance that she'll come back.

ok, so i finally caught planet of the dead. and i really hate to say it, but i wasnt impressed.
honestly .. nothing real impressive or brilliant with this one. the next ep should be worth the wait tho..

i miss Tennant so much he was the greatest.. i cried so much as he was doing his good byes at the end of the show, it was so sad.. I miss him already...

you know, me and Dan over at the realm talk about the new who alot, I have to say, honestly, Matt Smith is a very good replacement to David Tennant, he's got the same offbeat kind of nerdy delivery, and wacky style to the role, the stories haven't been oh my god wow, but there is always shaky episodes near the start of a guy's run at the role. and the new companion, Amy Pond? oh my god, she's great, she's smart and feisty, and holy shit is she one hot as hell Scottish girl.

If you ever get yourself set with net speed good for downloading, let me know I'll tell ya the best and first site to get Who out most of the time, it also has so much of it, it has its own catagory there.

also, I didn't see your asking about where to watch it before you found that other one, but surfthechannel.com is free and should have everything from 2005 onward.. and tons of other stuff from all over the world.

well I don't have any invites, but TheBox.bz is the definative british torrent site, one of its members records Doctor Who and Torchwood exclusively for them in both regular and HD format its super high speed sourced too, even on my old DSL connection I'd get an episode in like 40 minutes, now that i upgraded to cable I got the season finale this year in like 5 minutes

i could not have said it better my self. if y'all haven't noticed, my screen name was taken from the 2005 series finale and a few others here have done similar. With Jodie Whittaker exiting and David Tennant re-joining as the Doctor, leading up to the Fifteenth Doctor Ncuti Gatwa, 2023+ looks to be most promising. - we shall see -
