now i am speaking of the current series, although if anyone has seen the original please feel free to discuss as it is nice to compare to the remake.

personally, i love it ^^ . i do remember the old BBC series that aired here in the US on PBS (Public Broadcast Station) now it took me a bit to get use to the changing of "The Doctor"
from series I to series II, i know that's how its supposed to work in the orig series, and in the comics (yes he had his own comic and appeared regularly with in the pages of Death's Head and .. *gasps* Transformers   )
.. but on television with different actors .. its an adjustment

oh fucking hell was this weeks episode AWESOME!!

It was like Super Mega Ultra Whoverse Team Up!! It had Torchwood, Sarah Jane, Rose, Donna, Martha, Space Rhinos, Daleks, Insane Daleks, Devros... it was.... YES!!!

The reunion moment made Mia cry like a girl... and also, I wanted to watch Rose, Donna, Gwen and Martha make out.... you know cuz the world was over.... but... it didn't happen... yet.

I fucking LOVEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD this episode, I loved it so much I'd have sex with it if it wasn't an episode. It had everything and some great lines too....

Donna: "Ooo who is that?"
Doctor: "thats Captain Jack.."
Donna: "oh..."
Doctor: "don't... just... don't.."
Donna: "Aww.."

Jack: "Where the hell have you been?"
Doctor: "trying to find where all of you were.."

*Harret gets shot by the Daleks*

Rose: "What? doesn't this thing have webcam?"
Donna's Grandfather: "I wanted one but this one here [points at Donna's mom] says they're naughty"
Rose: "Well can't argue there.."

Rose: [holding her big gun like its a massive strap on] "How do ya like my gun? Its pretty big yeah?"

Doctor: "I need to find her, I need to find where Rose is, what else did she say?"
Donna: "Well why don't you ask her yourself.." [looks behind The Doctor]
*The Doctor turns around and sees Rose and they both start running at each other*

Martha: "i'm working on project Indego..."
Jack: "did they ever get that working?"
Martha: "how do you know about that?"
Jack: "I met a solider in a bar one night.."
Yanto: "Oi.. whats this about then?"

all this, plus Space Rhinos... and Rose getting REALLY jealous of Martha.... hehe

So.... watched the season finale tonight...

all I'm gonna say is..... motherfucker made me cry

Doctor Who star David Tennant has withdrawn from all performances of Hamlet until next year after scheduling surgery for a slipped disc.

The actor was said to be devastated after pulling out of live performances of the Shakespeare play at London's Novello Theatre on Monday and Tuesday (08-9Dec08) because of the ongoing injury.

Tennant is now due to undergo surgery on his back on Thursday - and will not return to the stage show before Christmas, the Royal Shakespeare Company has confirmed.

And although he has branded his enforced absence "hugely disappointing", Tennant has lavished praise on his understudy Edward Bennett, who won standing ovations on Monday and Tuesday.

Tennant says, "My back problem has progressed to the point where it is currently impossible for me to carry on without surgery.

"I want to get back onstage as quickly as possible and I am very grateful to Ed who has courageously got to grips with the role but in a much shorter time. It's a fantastic achievement."

Tennant's run in the play is due to finish on 10 January.

and of course, i find out that Tennant is not going to continue his role as the Doctor,
some dude named Matt Smith.

No word on that, but, they just aired the easter special, and have two more to go before Tennant passes the role onto that guy that looks like that dude from Twilight

Easter special, pretty awesome. Way better then that horrible Christmas Special and the end of season 4, which i'm still pissed about

I would think Sci Fi is gonna air the easter special at some point, probably with the two that are coming in the fall... It was a pretty good episode,

As for the timewar, I've not heard anything about it in well over a year now, so I don't know if the project got shelved or what, but if they did to it, it would be McCann, the guy that played The Doctor in the american movie, not Tennant, and Eccleston would show up at the end, because thats the order it went in, McCoy passes the role to McCann in the american movie, McCann sometime during the Timewar, probably the end, regenerates into Eccleston, and then he passes off to Tennant. So, Tennant wouldn't even be in that.
