FlashPlayer - SWF to HTML
For needing or wanting to view Flash files, videos, games, here are a few options for the various browsers out there
- Ruffle https://ruffle.rs/
Ruffle is an Adobe Flash Player emulator. Ruffle seamlessly plays Flash content on sites you visit. Browsers removed support for the Flash Player in 2020. The rich legacy of Flash content is no longer easily accessible. By installing Ruffle, you can continue to experience this content as intended, directly in your browser.
Ruffle does not require the official Adobe Flash Player. Instead, Ruffle uses modern web technologies including HTML5, WebAssembly, and WebGL. When you visit a web site, Ruffle replaces embedded Flash movies with the Ruffle player, displaying the Flash content directly in-page.
- MS Edge Flash Player - emulator
https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/...fjllmd?hl=en-US
An easy to use MS Edge extension that allows users to run any Flash games or other SWF files using a JS emulator and existing Flash content will simply work, without additional settings or applications.
Flash Player detects any flash-content on a web page (which is displayed in a pop-up window - green circle) and then replaces standard flash file playback errors "Plugin Adobe Flash Player is no longer supported" with the "Play" button, which you can click to open the game.
Flash Player uses two open-source Flash to JS libraries (Ruffle and SWF2JS) as its emulation engine.
- FireFox FlashPlayer - SWF to HTML
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ad...er-swf-to-html/
This extension plays SWF objects of Adobe Animate (Flash) in a pure JS emulator without the need to have a native Flash plug-in like Adobe FlashPlayer. The extension uses the open-source swf2js library as its emulation engine. By default, the extension does not play Flash objects instead, the user presses the toolbar button for the extension to find all available Flash objects or links in the current webpage. It will offer the user to select the proper SWF object and then send the link to a stand-alone emulator window. This way Flash objects are only functioning when there is a request. For Flash links, the extension adds a context menu item to these links so you can directly emulate an SWF link.

Re: FlashPlayer - SWF to HTML
Just when I was about to settle for Flash Emulators as my only option, I run across this:

I gave them a quick scan, soooo excited that I may actually get to see some of the old FinalFantasy Flash and Transformers Flash games preserved/restoredbrandon_g @ help.forumotion.com wrote:There really is not one.Chalesboon @ help.forumotion.com wrote:
So which is best Alternative for Adobe Flash Player.
However, there is a website that is run by some freelance programmers who have preserved and archived many flash games and have made their own self contained version of flash so that the games can be played. You have to download their program (which contains a list of games you can download and play within it) and then you can play any of the available games on their list. You will only be able to play it within their program, their flash environment does not work outside of the program like in a web browser or anything like that.
Unfortunately if there is a game not on the list that is flash there is nothing you can do to play it. If a website or game has not been switched over to newer coding standards like html5, Java, etc. yet then it probably never well.
