Infinity Stones

Where did the Infinity Stones come from?:
"The Infinity Stones (formerly known as the Infinity Gems and the Soul Gems) are powerful artifacts that originated from a primordial universe, found below the Quarry of Creation and inhabited by Celestials. That universe contains countless Infinity Stones, which get sent to other universes by the Celestials.

There are six Infinity Stones: The Space Stone (blue), the Reality Stone (red), the Power Stone (purple), the Mind Stone (yellow), the Time Stone (green) and the Soul Stone (orange).

As The Collector explains in Guardians of the Galaxy, six singularities existed before the creation of the Universe. The Big Bang transformed those entities into six separate Infinity Stones."



6 Infinity Stones:

Power Gem - Haematite
Haematite absorbs negative energy and calms you down when you're stressed or worried. Haematite is a protective stone that may help you stay grounded in a variety of situations. Haematite is also beneficial for dealing with the Root & Third Eye Chakras, since it aids in protection, grounding and healing. It helps you find your inner peace in meditation by creating a shield that protects you from negative energy by the transformation of negative energy into more positive ones.  

Haematite restores, strengthens and regulates the blood supply, aiding blood conditions such as anaemia. It supports the kidneys and regenerates tissue. Stimulates the absorption of iron and formation of red blood cells. Treats leg cramps, anxiety and insomnia.

Space Gem -  Dumortierite (Blue Quartz)
Dumortierite  helps to bring calm, relaxation, and harmony, being extremely helpful in situations where you need to reduce over excited behaviour, and stubbornness. A supportive stone, it encourages confidence and standing up for oneself, whilst staying true to one's beliefs and feelings

Dumortierite is a calming Throat Chakra stone that enhances creativity, communication, and self-expression. It also helps in accessing communication in the spiritual and angelic realms. It is a powerful stone to protect from negativity and its balancing properties help dispel fear.

Time Gem - Jade
Jade has the ability to transform negative energies into positive ones that promote joyfulness and love. Calming and harmonious, the stone also can help you heal from emotional and physical injuries and illness. Jade is a symbol of serenity and purity. It signifies wisdom gathered in tranquility. It increases love and nurturing. A protective stone, Jade keeps the wearer from harm and brings harmony. Jade attracts good luck and friendship. It helps the heart to find compassion to make the right decisions, balances emotions, and gives modest and clear ideas. Finally, it opens your mind and persuades you toward renewal.

The Heart Chakra is the 4th of the traditional 7 Chakras. It is represented by the color green and the element of air. It is thought to be where our earthy ambitions and spiritual desires meet and come to fruition. The heart chakra is a place of love, beauty, compassion and forgiveness. Green stones, such as Jade, are supportive to the heart.

Reality Gem - Ruby
Ruby is used to alleviate body pain and help with blood and circulatory problems, low energy, heart problems, and detoxification. In history, rubies were rubbed on the skin to promote vitality and youth. Ruby is said to promote overall wellness in these areas and inspire better health.

The strong metaphysical properties and striking appearance of this stone exude vitality and energy. This stone is believed to make its wearer more focused, active, alert, and aware of their surroundings. Moreover, it is alleged that a ruby can improve blood circulation and help people who have eyesight problems.

Ruby is used for the Root Chakra as it gets you grounded, safe, and stable so that you don’t feel shaken by the winds of change. It helps the Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras as well. The lower chakras aren't just about stability and safety, they are also where our passion and creativity sit. By engaging a flow of energy that links the root to the creative center, you can walk through the world (reality) feeling more connected to your authentic self.

Mind Gem - Citrine (Yellow Quartz)
Citrine is associated with positivity and optimism, which is not surprising given its cheerful color. It's often used to assist in manifesting financial abundance and opportunities. It can also be used to awaken the Solar Plexus Chakra, helping to cultivate confidence and personal power.

Citrine has positive characteristics when aiding the physical self and has an important role in valuing the spiritual self as well. It awakens and expands the higher mind, especially conscious awareness. Citrine is quick to shift and freshen energy, can bring good luck and a sense of renewed clarity. Very much a positive stone, Citrine brings the warming energy of sunshine to uplift, strengthen and revitalise.

Soul Gem - Crystal (Rock Quartz)
Rock Quartz has been called the "Universal Crystal" because of its many uses and is beneficial for manifesting, healing, meditation, protection and channeling. Due to its ability to balance, Rock Quartz is excellent for harmonizing and stabilizing one's environment and is helpful in romantic relationships. Rock Quartz is excellent for amplifying the energies of other stones or strengthening groups of stones.

Rock Quartz enhances spiritual growth, spirituality and wisdom. Because it clarifies thought processes and emotions, it can increase inspiration and creativity. It can also help with concentration, studying and retaining what one learns.

Wearing Rock Quartz has been associated with balance, clarity and energy, and credited with benefiting overall health and spiritual well-being. Rock Quartz is known as the Master Healer which means it can help balance all the chakras. However, Rock Quartz is also known to be connected to the Crown Chakra which means it helps to clear and open the mind to higher potential and infinite cosmic possibility.

A 7th Infinity Stone?:
"The Ego Stone (or Ego Gem) is the seventh Infinity Stone, hidden in an unknown realm known as the Ultraverse in the Marvel Comics Universe. Infinity War explains the Infinity Stones were created by the Big Bang that gave birth to the universe.

The Ego Gem is consciousness. When joined with the other Infinity Gems, it forms the core consciousness that made up the original cosmic union."

"It is accepted that the consciousness Level of higher centers (CHAKRAS) are higher than lower centers. In the measurement of chakra energy, we found that highest energy at eye center and lowest at navel center.

The seventh chakra is known to be responsible for the direct connection with the almighty and the conscious energy. This chakra is located on the top of your head and is associated with the Buddhist concept of achieving nirvana--which is simply not possible for humans."

What Are Chakras?:
"Chakra is a Sanskrit word that literally means wheel in English. It refers to energy centers spinning within the core of your system—your inner energy. These swirling wheels of universal energy align along the spine connecting your mind and physical and spiritual bodies.

Chakras are the energy distribution centers in your body. They are located in a specific location and distribute subtle energies to that region, influencing your physical as well as mental well-being.

There are seven chakras associated with specific energy centers located throughout the spine–from your spine’s base to the crown of your head."

Meditate with chakra crystals:
This is best done holding one chakra's crystal at a time. Get into a meditative state and imagine the crystal glowing at your chakra, pulsing with power. You can also listen to a guided chakra meditation and activate each that way.

- Odin's steed, Sleipnir, has eight legs.
- Odin's ring Draupnir gives forth eight more similar rings every ninth night.
- Loki garnered 8 gifts from the Dwarves as recompense to the Aesir for the theft of Sif's hair (in two blocks of three and finally two).
- In the guise of Grimnir in the Grimnismal, Odin awaits the attention of King Geirroth for 8 days before causing his death
- In the Reginsmal, the curse of Andvari's ring is laid upon 8 heroes who shall wear it.
- Countless sagas show parties of 8 Vikings being defeated, or at least thwarted from their victory by unforeseen circumstances or unfavorable luck.
- Ships attacking in a group of 8 were also defeated in the Grettis Saga, even though they only faced 5 enemy ships.

The color black represents 'New beginning' (as night and winter herald the birth of day and summer), all potential, the root of all things, knowledge of hidden things, concealment, the container of light & binds the living to the dead.

In the visible spectrum, black is the result of the absorption of all colors. Black can be defined as the visual impression experienced when no visible light reaches the eye. Pigments or dyes that absorb light rather than reflect it back to the eye "look black". A black pigment can, however, result from a combination of several pigments that collectively absorb all colors. If appropriate proportions of three primary pigments are mixed, the result reflects so little light as to be called "black". This provides two superficially opposite but actually complementary descriptions of black. Black is the absorption of all colors of light, or an exhaustive combination of multiple colors of pigment.

In physics, a black body is a perfect absorber of light, but, by a thermodynamic rule, it is also the best emitter. Thus, the best radiative cooling, out of sunlight, is by using black paint, though it is important that it be black (a nearly perfect absorber) in the infrared as well. In elementary science, far ultraviolet light is called "black light" because, while itself unseen, it causes many minerals and other substances to fluoresce.

A real Black Stone?
The Black Stone is believed to be originally an angel that had been placed by God in the Garden of Eden to guard Adam. The angel was absent when Adam ate the forbidden fruit and was punished by being turned into a jewel – the Black Stone. It is believe to be originally pure and dazzling white, but has since turned black because of the sins of the people who touch it.

According to some scholars, the Black Stone was the same stone that Islamic tradition describes as greeting Muhammad before his prophethood. This led to a debate about whether the Black Stone's greeting comprised actual speech or merely a sound, and following that, whether the stone was a living creature or an inanimate object. Whichever was the case, the stone was held to be a symbol of prophethood

A significant clue to its nature is provided by an account of the stone's recovery in 951 CE, after it had been stolen 21 years earlier. According to a chronicler, the stone was identified by its ability to float in water. If this account is accurate, it would rule out the Black Stone being an agate, a basalt lava, or a stony meteorite, though it would be compatible with it being glass or pumice

Ultimate Universe (Earth-1610)
In this universe, there are eight Infinity Gems instead of six. The Ultimate Universe had the standard 6, with the remaining two going unnamed. The 7th Gem was most likely the Death Stone, with the 8th Infinity gem found inside Tony Stark's brain (The Ego Gem).

New Xandar (Earth-94241)
In order to defeat the Mad Titan Thanos, Anwen Bakian used the Reality Stone to create the Death Stone. Looking identical to the Reality Stone, Bakian handed it over to an unaware Thanos, where it promptly disintegrated him.

In another alternate reality, [Marvel Contest of Champions (Earth-TRN517)] the Death Stone originated from Battlerealm. To collect the other five Infinity Stones without any resistance, Thanos enlisted the help of Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight, who used the Death Stone to imprison most of the heroes within the mirror dimension.

Super Hero Squad (Earth-91119)
Rhythm Stone. The Rhythm Stone didn't actually have any powers. Unlike the rest of the real Infinity Stones, the Rhythm Stone couldn't be combined with the others, provide a power boost, or change reality. It was one big prank from the god of mischief.

Lego Build Stone. The Build Stone grants the power to build anything.

Continuity Gem
Deadpool v3 #27, the Continuity Gem grants Deadpool the power to retcon Marvel Comics History and talk to writers.

Heroes Reborn (Earth-TRN852)
In this reality, the Infinity Stones were involved in one of Thanos schemes, in which he was turned into dust. Thanos came back to life and start to wore the Infinity Stones as rings, known as the Infinity Rings.

The denomination given to the third iteration of existence and second Multiverse. It was inhabited by "Lifebringer One," the legendary first hero, and the "Anti-All," the great dragon from the "Under-Lands" beneath infinity.[3] Time and distance had little-to-no meaning in the Third Cosmos, with the only known location being a spherical white planetoid in the middle of an endless void. Following Anti-All's defeat, Lifebringer One's light replaced the void, and the Anti-All's essence was scattered across the Multiverse.
