Legends of Chima

The land in which the series takes place is known as Chima. It is a magical land where advanced species, split into eight different tribes, who speak and act like humans dominate. Once at peace and in a state of balance, now they are at war over the land's mystical energy source, called Chi. The tribes have formed into two factions who now fight over the energy source, but some, like the lion prince Laval, know that if one tribe possessed too much Chi, the land would be threatened by destruction. Now they must fight not only to protect the Chi from their enemies, but restore a long-lasting peace in Chima. For Laval, this now involves fighting against his former friend Cragger, who has become a leader of the opposing forces.
