Transformers: Prime

as rumored .. the newest Transformer "Cartoon" for this fall will be Transformers: Prime
i havent heard much on the plot or the overall cast of characters, other than jeffrey combs is to be playing the voice of ratchet.

based on the teaser, it looks like it will follow the TF live action movies as far as its character/universe placement.. and from what little the teaser shows, you can of course see Bumblebee and well the CGI isnt that bad either.

hmmm not liking the color change on arcee and a complete character change on soundwave... not looking promising

yep yep and i was proven wrong..which was a pleasent surprise..
altho i cant get past arcees coloring and well.. soundwave doesnt sound like him at all..
i'll give it a chance..like with TFA..

I must admit that Soundwave has me a tad unsettled... and Arcee being Chromia colored is abit, wrong...specially sense Chromia was Alex's old name, and well, less that reminds me of that whore the better.

but there are some awesome things too that no one seems to be noticing, Bulkhead looks like that armored transport truck that G.I Joe and Cobra use, plus, take a really good look at Prime's alt mode, its Rhino from MASK.

well with them possibly going to the old back to back format they had in syndication, combined with the fact they're on a network exclusively for hasbro stuff, as well as having afew actors in common like before, (rumor also has it The Rock is gonna voice one of the Joes and Cliffjumper and Lee Majors might also voice Alpha Trion as well as whoever he's voicing on G.I Joe) add all that to the fact Hasbro has been kind of kissing the asses of both our fanbase and the 80s style joe fanbase for a good few years now, and it all adds up to a good chance. Ofcourse with Matt Tracker part of the Joes now, and Prime looking like Rhino they also might use the two shows to bring MASK back from the grave too... who knows...

heh i can just see the back story of how the joes try to duplicate the transformer technology and create the M.A.S.K unit (Venom of course would be a branch of cobra) hahaha of course ... it all makes sense

you know, that makes more sense then the original plot of mask....

ok, so this month the Hub is airing as free preview channel and theyve aired the pilot "mini series"
and i must say..... I AM PISSED   frakin hasbro and what ever fan boy made up the plot..
Dark Energon - raising cybertronians from the dead... as zombiecons ... frakin stole my idea...
and do i get props ... nooooooo
not even a thank you nem for giving us the plot to our new hit series  .. bastards..
other than that.. it wasnt bad    

I'm not really a super fan of Prime so far, but i did yell "they ripped off Nemmy" when heard and saw Dark Energon.

It isn't as good as Renegades but I liked it however the animation irritates me. I will give it credit for having the least irritating humans since the original series.

dunno.... Spike, Carley and Chip Chase got really hard to tolerate in the original series at times... Chip more then other other two though...I'd actually say these three are a tad less annoying. Miko being the worst of the three cuz she needs some ritilan or something...

heh i kinda liked miko..she's not as cool as sari but *eh*
and this verion of bulkhead, actually like him more than the TFA one. im not a fan of this version of optimus tho, he's lacking personality.

Fatimus was lazy and kind of cold in character form too, but he seems to get much love. Dunno, I don't really care for this show much, but the toys look amazing.

i havent seen much of the actual toys.. ive heard they're gonna be third party
what i did see this weekend was the KO-lego (Kre-O) Transformers sets..most of them based on TF Prime figures, other on TF DoTM = AWESOME ! i especially loved the mini g1-esque figures the sets came with

Dunno, the toys don't look third party to me... here's afew..

They look to be on the same astoundingly show accurate level that Animated's toys were. Oh how I miss Transformers Animated, it was so awesome and so fun at the same time... Oh well, atleast I've got the toys from Prime to keep me happy. And all them third party toys I been ordering lately.

they had two cliffjumpers and three bumblebees left on the shelf..
not sure if they had more out or what not..
