This is taken from Captain Harlock: Arcaida of My Youth, where the crew gets back the arcadia and rise it from the depths of the base its held at. This is seen as one of the greatest space ship related scenes of all animation, and if you aren't aware of Captain Harlock, and its sister series Galaxy Express 999, Spacebatttleship Yamato/Starblazers, and all the follow up and spin off series, then you really need too, their some of the oldest and greatest animes ever.

I grew up watching them and I still to this day will sit and watch, I also have a huge collection of toys and stuff, even got me and Mia Bella capes, mine is Harlock's, and Mia's is Queen Emeraldas' cape. So, as you can tell I'm a fan... check'um out.

Oh it wasn't a big deal, all is good, I just wanted to show off a scene from one of my favorite classic animes.

I didn't really know of the series Space Pirate Captain Harlock until you made me watch it Lazzy, I have to say, I love the whole old west/pirate/space soap opera feel of it, I loved how indept the characters were, and I do suggest that anyone who wants to see some almost forgotten anime, to go find it, or really any part of the Harlock saga, they're all rather good.

I gotta say though, the clip, I didn't overly like the "resurrection" scene as its called by fans, I thought it was to unbelievible with out the giant blade on the front for them to push through all of that mortar and stuff with out a rip somewhere. Ofcourse, I like Emeraldas' ship better anyway.
