[IDW] Megatron Origin

Before allegiance, rank and function—before war—a civilian will become a warrior, a warrior will become a leader. As a leader he will learn of the most powerful weapon on the planet—a weapon powerful enough to bind legions to his will—a faction named DECEPTICON. I read the 1st issue at least 3 times already and all I can say is... I WANT MORE!!!!! It's looking good. It's got that War Within feel that l love so much. So far we see our beloved Megs as energon miner, a good old fassioned bluecoller worker. A normal guy! Something that we're not use to. I like that. You would almost exspect him to go home at night, sit back in his Lazy-boy recliner, pop open a can of beer and watch T.V. for the rest of the night! That's something most fans can relate too.

i like how it can easily fit into the whole mythology
that led Megs to the formation of the Decepticons with
out changing it

ive heard some people say that rumble & frenzy started it
i know they were there (i love how they just worked the mines too ... mmmmm get that feeling that some of them Autobots were a just too wee bit high and mighty, and in ooooooo what 4million + years later no one said im sorry )

So that was Rumble and Frenzy:shock:. I'm really looking foward to who he meets up with Starscream and Grimlock:affraid:. If I remember right when Megs and Grimmy were gladiators they were bestfrends or something like that and Megs stabs Grimmy in the back and then Grimmy turns around and becomes an Autobot. I'm just wondering what Megs did to make Grimmy swich sides, don't you? As for Screamers, I always wondered how he met Megs and how their relationship was before they started to have the love/hate relationship they have now. (They love to hate eachother, not the kinky type, you perverts:mrgreen:)

yeah that was them ^^ .. most of the founding :Decepticon: were some sort of
laborer, gladiator or servent of some sort (mmmmmmmm sounds familiar)
in the old marvel comics, the State games were used to distract the public from the energon shortages .... then we see here the Autobot council talking about labor costs and what not .. you can see were im going with this ..

i figure Megs and Grimlock had a parting of ways over Starcream.
Starscream was in the Cybertron Air guard - "Reserves"
but Starscream was very talented .. and Megatron saw that.
I can see Grimlock seeing SS as a major threat to what was the overal objective to the rebellion .. but Megatron obviously had other plans.

I've been drooling over the 1st issue for months cuz i couldnt find this anywhere when finally my local comicshop owner suprised me the the TPB He has me alliegiance when the zombie apocolypse comes. I read the whole thing and my god was it amazing, it smoothly blended into all the existing continuity amazingly well. even the DW continuity.

I read the whole series and I loved it , but what I really got a kick out of is when Starscream was on trial. What he said was funny as hell and after reading that part I realized that if my husband was in that same situation he would of said and done the exact same as Starscream did and the more I thought about it my husband is similar to Starscream in to many damn ways. So in an odd and totally awesome way I'm married to Starscream!!! Yes, yes, yes!!! I'm married to Starscream and I love it!!! Sorry I couldn't help myself.
