"Transformers Headmasters is a Japanese exclusive Transformers show aired in the late 80s. While the popularity of Transformers slowed down in America after the cancellation of the fourth season known as Rebirth, Japan had the popularity continue with three shows, Headmasters, Super God Masterforce, and Victory, which ended with Zone as an OVA once popularity died down for them until Beast Wars. The three shows never got an official English dub for American audiences, but did get them for Malaysia. Dubbed by the Hong Kong company Omni Productions, the three dubs are infamous for their voice acting, renaming of various characters, and general hilarity. While Headmasters is the first show in the trilogy, it was the last one to be dubbed by Omni Productions. These dubs are rare, due to the lack of distribution in America and other countries. Shout Factory did intend to release the dubs to America, but Hasbro rejected it due to questionable accuracy. The only other sources excluding Chinese bootlegs are out of print Australian and UK DVDs."
