Batman: The Brave and the Bold

Each episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold features main character Batman teaming up with other characters from the DC Universe to thwart characters or solve crimes. The show has no overarching story, instead having most episodes stand alone.

The show is purposely lighter in tone than previous Batman series, such as the critical and fan favorite Batman: the Animated Series. Batman is depicted as more lighthearted and playful in this series and he displays a dry, ironic wit. Also, Batman's alter ego Bruce Wayne will never appear in the show.

what i love about this series is, i can sit down
with my kiddos and watch it, without having to explain
what's going on (my boys are 5 and 7)

to top it all off, i love how it reminds me of the old live
action show w/adam west i watched as a kid
**points for really kickin' it old skool) red grin

new eps just started up this past friday, with team up w/Guy Gardner
(at the intro) with green arrow and merlin wOoT .. gotta love the demon etrigan
and all the deamon rhyming and smashing nem

what I love about this show, is that you're right, its a toss back to
the old school Adam West era batman, colorful and flamboyant versions
of the villains, funny written versions of the characters that appear,
I mean come on, Plastic Man? the only thing that could be more awesome
then how they made him woulda been to just air the old school Plastic
Man cartoon complete with those live action plastic man segments.

I didn't so much like new Blue Beatle though... but the rest, awesomeness.
