the two hour premier came on last night on syfy and well .. i just dont know

eps (issue) 1 was shown last monday.

it starts off retelling how the voltron team was assembled to hunt/seek out the lions.

i liked it and since i was able to record it, i got to watch it w/my kiddos.

anyone else seen this yet? i'm not sure if its airing in the states yet, but its gonna air there on nickelodeon if i recall, i been snagging it off torrents because YTV in Canada been airing it.. its pretty interesting, set in the future where jean and Professor X are missing and mutants are being hunted down and locked way, Magneto rules Genoshia and offers it as a haven to mutants, and Wolverine and Beast need to rebuild the X-Men. Its pretty good, its kind of a mix of whats going on ...

no i'm not talking about the 1984 classic, altho i'm sure it will be brought up - i'm talkin about the 2003 remake. any one see this. gave the classic version a more modern feel. i loved it, especially towards the end with King Hiss and what we were preview to, the return of Hordak - and quite possibly She-Ra. but sadly i guess there was not enough fan base or marketing power, as it was never to be. the show was 'axed' before Hordak made is (re) appearance.

Last night CTN had the premier of their new series
Star Wars: Clone Wars, a continuation from their first animated series
and the CGI Theatrical.

I liked it.
still getting use to the CGI of the characters themselves,
but overall, the 1st two eps .. petty dam good.

i was very dissapointed when CTN canceld it
the last eps was that of Lex Luthor getting the anti life equation to Darksied very intense eps (especially the battle between Sups and Darksied)

overall the series had great potential as a keeper / good
could have gone further who knows * maybe someday it'll be picked back up

im waaay out of the loop i havent seen a eps in quite some time, but here is what i remember: Jaden our new 'hero' is pretty cool, his "special" card is a wing'd kuribo that Yugi gave him. pretty much the only LAME element of this series is this card oO not the card itself, just how they work it into every duel - as his Last / Saving card - **BLA**- pretty sappy but i dont see 'em droping the kuribo motif
