in my hand, why
am I cursed to walk
this land?

Is it for my
immortal thirst,
that I am forced
to live this curse?

For some mortal desire,
I'm forced to attend
this funeral pyre,

To know not another's
touch, nor love, nor
scent, nor taste, life
of mine set to waste,

Did I some how offend
thee, here I am on
bended knee,

As I lay here in sad
disgrace, I know death
I shall never embrace.
